Hello and Welcome to My Blog

First, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Staci K. Gauny. And establishing my blog is a way for me to pass on and teach to others all the extremely valuable knowledge I have been taking in and continue to take in on a daily basis, learning from leaders in the online marketing industry. On my blog you will find lots of awesome informational tips and strategies about online marketing, social media, and finding your true entrepreneurial spirit to push you forward on your way to living a life of absolute freedom, as well as my adventures of juggling this all while being a stay-at-home mom. Finding myself to be a truly passionate entrepreneur has been life changing, and I am dedicated to helping others discover their passions and finding a life of freedom doing what you love.

Let me tell you a little about myself…

It all began in a small town in Central Texas, Rockdale, a town of about 5,000. Coming from a small town has its advantages. Growing up in a small town, all you want to do is get out, see more. However, after leaving you realize the relationships you have made there are forever, and a small town gives you a wealth of friendships that last a lifetime.

After graduation, I set off to Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. There I found myself not knowing really what I wanted to do with my life. I soon decided to go to court reporting school in Austin and got my license as a Court Reporter for the State of Texas in 1996. Being a court reporter was when I found out what it was like to trade time for money. I had a very nice income but worked many hours. It was something I enjoyed at the time, but I really never saw myself going back to after starting a family.

In 2000, I met my husband, Ronnie, a die-hard entrepreneur. I honestly have never seen an individual who throws himself into projects like he does. He is a true visionary and a guy who makes things happen. We have been fortunate to live several different places, Austin; Montreal, Quebec; West LA; Seattle, and Fort Worth. Ronnie and I have had three amazing children and I am blessed with three incredible step-kids. I always knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, and I have been fortunate enough to have that opportunity.

Going back to school, work, what?

Last year I hit a little bump in the road. With my youngest now two and going to preschool three days a week, I had three days a week to myself. I thought this was going to be fantastic because I was going to get so much done! The only problem was I found out it was a bunch of stuff I really didn’t want to be spending my time doing. My me time was – well, me cleaning. And with three kids, there always seems to be endless things to clean and organize, and re-organize around here. Not only do I not enjoy it, but I’m really not that good at it. Let’s just say, it’s definitely something I’d rather outsource. I knew I was going to have to find something to do, what was going to happen when my youngest turned five and they were all in school five days a week.

My first initial thought was school. I would go back to school. Realizing I would have to take a placement test to get back into college, I headed out to the bookstore to grab “Algebra for Dummies.” I felt kind of like I had a mind explosion, in a very good way. I found myself pouring over this book, doing problems, and having fun doing it. Ironically, I was relearning what I had begun to learn in the eighth grade. It’s amazing how much we forget! So I finally went to the local community college and took the test. Now, I was in and reality really started to sink in.

What in the world was I going to go back to school for. The more and more I searched, the more and more I realized I couldn’t find the salary that was going to be worth me paying to go back to school, and for me to be taken away from my family. The thought of missing something one of my kids would be doing, haunted me. What would I do if one of them got sick. The idea that I would have to be somewhere at a certain time, not able to leave, just didn’t set right with me. I started to realize what a blessing I had truly had with my children the last eight years of my life, the blessing of time freedom. And now I had another problem, I realized I wasn’t ready to give it up.

Going Online With a Business…

That is about the time when a network marketing company was brought to my attention and the idea of somehow creating a small home business of my own caught my attention. My husband, being the Tech Savvy, guy he is, immediately suggested to me that if I wanted to do something like this, I needed to go the route of the internet. And that is where my journey into online marketing began. Although, I must say, never did I realize how much I was going to enjoy this. It has truly become a passion. The internet is an amazing opportunity for entrepreneurs and an incredible way to connect with other like-minded individuals from all over the world. I have found the leaders in the online marketing industry to be incredible trainers, and I am excited to pass along the knowledge I continue to gain on a daily basis from these remarkable mentors.
