How to Make a Good Ezine Article
Making or writing a good ezine article will not only save you time by increasing your chances of earning a solid following of your readers, but it will also translate to more traffic to your blog which would mean more income. As your readership grows, your name will also become an authority in the niche you have chosen to write about. Here are some few simple steps you can follow to make a good ezine article. Also, don’t forget that constant practice brings results quicker.
Steps To a Good Ezine Article
List the topic that you consider yourself to be an expert of. You may also consider listing a topic that you enjoy reading about. Some people channel their creativity by joining forums or online groups that converge together based on a common love of a hobby, trade, etc. A perfect example of this would be photography, where enthusiasts and hobbyists alike share their photos, tips, and tricks about the art of photography.
Find experts in your niche. Most of them have websites that already have an established reputation with a strong reader following. Read their articles not only to learn new information but also notice how the articles are written and why so many readers enjoy reading their articles repeatedly. You may also ask them questions about clarifications you have about a certain topic in your niche as they would be glad to help and assist you in any way they can. This is great for learning to build quality ezine articles.
Read and understand the guidelines required for the ezines that will fit with your planned article. The guidelines will set how many words your articles should contain, when and where to pass any manuscript or query, the formatting, rights of the authors and lastly the rates for the ezine articles.
Make an outline of your ezine article prior to writing it. Remember that every article should have a basic outline composed of an introduction, a body and a conclusion. The introduction tells readers what your article is about and what to expect from them, the body tells the details on how the information should be used or outlines certain steps to perform a task, and the conclusion summarizes what you have stated in your introduction and body and it helps reinforce the main ideas of your article.
Begin writing your ezine article, note that it really does not have to be set strictly against a standard you are trying to emulate at the beginning. Remember that you are only starting and it is expected that there will be a lot of tweaking and rewriting done to refine your writing style. Don’t worry about it and don’t overdo it as it is a normal part of the process.
Remember to use keywords all throughout your ezine article. Do not put too many keywords on your articles as this will make your article sound unnatural and will raise suspicion from your readers about your sincerity about your passion about your chosen niche. Note that you should be able to connect to your readers on an emotional level so that they will see you as a trustworthy expert in the niche. A great way of minimizing use of keywords and making your article sound natural is to add keywords that can be associated with the main keyword. An example is the word dog which is also associated with the words canine, kennel, puppy, doghouse, etc. Also, don’t forget to fill the tags at the end of your article with the keywords you have chosen. You may also use the words you used previously in your outline as your tags.
Write a professionally made author profile along your ezine article. Indicate what readers will learn from reading your ezine articles, and point out why you are a qualified authority in the topic. You may also include a link to a website that contains your online blog.
And in Your Ezine Article Do Not Waste Your Resource Box!
Place a resource box at the end of every article that you submit for publication. This is also your chance to place your link. A chance for you to leave a link to your blog or website for readers to find you at. It is best to make a hyperlink with the keyword of your article.
