Adwords Tips: How to Create Your Ad in Adwords

This blog post is about how to create your Ad when using Adwords. Now the first thing that you need to do is to find your keywords. To find your keywords you have to be very specific. The person who would click your ad would already know what they are expecting.  If they click your ad, you must be able to deliver the services that they are actually expecting to get upon clicking the ad, or else you will not get any sales and you just wasted your money on ad clicks.

Now, upon signing into your Adwords, they already should have these four bullets on how to create your ad.  I’ll explain to you some adwords tips on how to create your ad based on the four bullets.

Determine your budget

First, what you need to know is that Adwords has no minimum budget. You can actually spend as little as .40 cents per click or as much as $20.00 a day. It’s really cheap because Google is actually targeting small companies who don’t have physical stores and perhaps can’t afford a full blown ad campaign.

Create your ad campaign

Okay, first, you create your ad’s heading. Your ad’s heading should be centered in your keyword or the services you offer. For example, if you are selling weight loss medicine, you can put in “Weight Loss Pill: Very Effective.”  At first glance, the clicker will already know that you are selling something.

Your ad description should clarify your heading in a short sentence. For the heading “Weight Loss Pill: Very effective” your description could be “A weight loss product that has no other side effects except weight loss!” You can also add a discount price or the original price itself to let the clicker know they are to buy something if they click it.

Keyword Bidding

In bidding for keywords you can choose either any of these keyword match types:
1) Broad Match
2) Phrase Match
3) Exact Match
4) Negative Match
5) Embedded Match
In another blog post I will explain what each of those matches are, but they are very effective in getting your keywords at the top of the ads page when a person searches for your keyword.

Monitor your Click Through Rate (CTR)

Monitoring your CTR is very important, because you pay less the higher your CTR is on Google.  We will also discuss that in a specific blog post for that purpose. CTR would depend on how you bid your keywords; and the more specific your are in your keyword, the higher your CTR is and the cheaper you pay for ad clicks.

Make sure you enter your Billing Information Correctly-It says it all!

If you are done with creating your ad campaign that’s it! You may now start running your Ad and begin to grow your business with Adwords.
